I enjoyed my meal here. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. They were extremely busy so there was a wait. Once we were seated, our waitress greeted us quickly. I ordered a Po' boy, it was really good. The bread was amazing. It's a nice restaurant, plenty of seating.

The food is excellent. I usually get the fried shrimp and they give you a good size portion. I've also had the stuffed shrimp and the catfish and they were very good as well. The service is great. Every time I have eaten here, the waitresses are just friendly southern woman with a smile. It's not a large restaurant so when it's busy you can tell by the seating, but it's still comfortable. I can't wait to go back.

Fish is excellent. Po-boys are tasty. The whole menu is really good. Service was courteous and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

We drive an hour and a half to have lunch there on Sundays. The service is always friendly, and the food is superb. The baked sweet potatoes are incredible. The catfish is perfectly seasoned and crispy. The little salad bar is full of goodness and always fresh. (No brown lettuce here!) Definitely one of our favorite spots.

Great salad bar good atmosphere everyone was polite and place was clean. Little pricey

We were pulling an all-nighter drive from Chicago to New Orleans, and ran across Mike's Catfish Inn around lunch time on our way. I had the seafood stuffed potato with the catfish. We also ordered the fried veggies and fried pickles as a group. Our meals also came with the salad bar. Everything on the salad bar looked super fresh with everything you need for leaf salad with all the fixings, and an assortment of salad dishes like pasta salad, potato salad, and broccoli salad among others. That broccoli salad was the stand out for me with lots of cranberries and sesame seeds, I definitely loaded up my plate. The seafood stuffed potato was really good with the seafood contained in a rich cream sauce. The catfish fillets were perfect, nice and crisp with great flavor. The fried veggies and pickles were ok, but I would probably pass on them if I get the good fortune to try Mike's again. The flavor, temperature, and portions were great, but I wasn't a fan of the cornmeal breading on them, due to the texture. The others in my company liked them though, so it may just be my personal preference. The staff were super nice and attentive. When they saw how much we were ordering they suggested we move to a larger table, and helped us move everything with no fuss. If we ever decide to undertake another overnight trek, then I know where we are stopping for lunch. Mikes!

Had a lot of fun eating dinner here the other night. Nice Salad Bar and Seafood Platter. We were in a Private Room for my Mom's 90th. My only recommendation is that the hush puppies were burnt and greasy. I liked my seafood platter, but please add less fries and maybe offer a bowl of gumbo too!
